Charles Lwanga receives Rtgs$7 700 for refurbishment.

RedCom Charity a wing under the Catholic Redemptorists Zimbabwe this afternoon (Monday 17) donated blankets and clothes as well as handed over a cheque amounting to RTGS$7700.00 to Charles Lwanga School which was affected by Cyclone Idai in February this year.
Redcom representative told this publication that as a charity organisation they sat down and come out to with the donations. She further went on to thank some of the Redemptorists members and friends around the world for responding well in helping St Charles and Lwanga school to its refurbishment.
“These donations came from all over the world from different people who work with Redemptorists, Besides the Rtgs$7 700 that you are seeing, there is also an amount of Rtgs$1 800 on ecocash”.

Speaking after receiving the goods and money Redemptorist Priests representative from Mutare Archdiocese Fr Muhomba, thanked Redcom for a helping hand and playing a part in making sure that those affected get to normal life.
“We are happy that we have people who are still helping victims of Cyclone Idai. I will make sure that these goods and money donated get to the intended people. i also urge other churches to come forward and help out as there are still some remote areas that need the help”.
