SERDP Urge Residents To Be Cautious Of COVID-19

Seke Rural Development Platform is encouraging residents in the area to practice Covid-19 safety regulations which are social and physical distancing, washing hands regularly with soap, sanitising and correctly wearing of mask covering the mouth and nose to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
As of 17 January 2021 Seke Rural has recorded a worrying 114 cumulative COVID-19 cases and three deaths. Meanwhile Zimbabwe has over 27 000 cases recorded so far and 16 512 recoveries.
“Residents ought to be very cautious and follow all preventative measures. COVID-19 is real and we wouldn’t want to lose more lives to this pandemic” said Tsitsi Mashiri SERDP Chairperson.

Mashiri went on to say recklessness will lead to a seriously calamity if residents are not careful and neglect safety regulations.
“Residents must live their lives with great care for those around them, everyone has a responsibility to fight and stop the spread of this killer virus”.
